Card Intel is a market-intelligence service. The product is built on market data, meaning completed sales, listings and print-run information. It is not built on you. This page lists exactly what we hold about account holders, and what we will never do with it.
What we collect
- Your email address
- Used for the magic sign-in link, session security, and, only if you opt in, the weekly price-move digest.
- A session cookie
- Set when you sign in, so the app knows it is you. No cross-site tracking cookies, no third-party ad pixels, no fingerprinting.
- Your product data
- Cards you add to a watchlist or look up, tied to your account so the app can be useful to you.
- API usage logs
- Requests per key, for rate limiting and abuse detection. That is all they are used for.
What we never do
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.
- We do not use your watchlist or search behaviour to trade, front-run, or advise anyone else.
- We do not embed third-party trackers or advertising SDKs in the app.
- We do not identify disputers. Flag rebuttals are reviewed for their evidence; the party that filed them is never surfaced in any product output.
Payments
Consumer billing is not live yet. When paid plans open, payments will be handled by a third-party payment processor. Card numbers never pass through Card Intel and are never stored by it.
Retention and deletion
Account data is kept while your account is active. Email hello@card-intel.com to delete your account and associated product data, or to ask what we hold about you. A human will answer.
Market-data evidence, meaning sales records and flag audit trails, is retained as the product's record of the market itself. It does not identify account holders.
